This wooded course is located in the Russian Jack Springs Park. The fairways vary from wide open to narrow, and the artificial-turf greens are small. The tee boxes also consist of artificial-turf. No water comes into play, but there are some sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design. The signature hole is #3, a 205-yard, par 3, featuring mature trees lining both sides of its narrow fairway.
The course has artificial greens that play surprisingly like natural turf. The wooded fairways block out the hustle and bustle of the city. The course has beautiful scenery that includes the peaks of the Chugach and Alaska ranges, plus the surrounding park greenery and city skyline.
Men and women use the same set of tee boxes. The course plays to a par of 31 a maximum 9-hole distance of 1,977 yards.
